The death sentences of four men in the province of Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad (Southwest Iran) charged with “Lavat” (Sodomy) have been upheld.
According to reports by HARANA, the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran, the death sentences of Soadat Aarefi, Vahid Akbari, Javid Akbari and Houshmand Akbari have been upheld.
These four men facing death on sodomy (Lavat) charges reside in the city of Cheram in the province of Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad.
A “Lavat” charge mostly refers to people accused of having sexual relations with a same sex partner.
